Photoshoots at Photo Factory, East Rand

I am so excited to be planning a mini session day at Photo Factory in April 2021 that I wanted to share some of my work from the previous time I was there.

I had the absolute joy of photographing this family just days after their son had turned one. Look at that proud papa.

Little one had an absolute blast playing with that random leaf while we took photos. But beware anyone who dared take his leaf away.

This was one of the shoots where there were equal amounts of smiles and tears, but that is why I schedule loads of time to make sure I get enough photos of you and your family. A quick trigger finger also helps.

And the leaf makes an appearance again. Not shown - mom running after her son to make sure he doesn't fall flat on his face as he barrels towards his dad.

There was so much rain that day I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get this shot, but we did!

Speaking of rain - here is a photo of the maternity shoot I did after the family shoot. When you're a photographer and on location, you have to work with what you get. But look at that beautiful mama-to-be's silhouette.

Since it was raining we moved indoors and got comfortable on the big chairs. I took the opportunity to have her look at the baby shoes and imagine her baby in them, how tiny her feet was going to be.

Look at all that love.
